Char Dham Yatra (Uttarakhand)

The revered Char Dham Yatra covers four sacred shrines nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas:

Yamunotri

Situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters, this shrine marks the origin of the Yamuna River. A short trek through dense forests and rugged terrain leads you to the temple of Goddess Yamuna, offering a divine experience.

Gangotri

The temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, sits at 3,100 meters and is believed to be where the Ganges descended from heaven. The surrounding snow-covered peaks and the tranquil Bhagirathi River set a heavenly atmosphere.

Kedarnath

Home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, Kedarnath (3,583 meters) is accessible via a challenging 16 km trek or by helicopter. It offers both spiritual sanctity and spellbinding mountain vistas.

Badrinath

Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this shrine lies at 3,100 meters and is surrounded by Nar and Narayan peaks. The temple’s vibrant architecture, religious hymns, and icy Alaknanda River create a mystic ambiance.
