Char Dham Yatra (Uttarakhand)
The revered Char Dham Yatra covers four sacred shrines nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas:
Yamunotri
Situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters, this shrine marks the origin of the Yamuna River. A short trek through dense forests and rugged terrain leads you to the temple of Goddess Yamuna, offering a divine experience.
Gangotri
The temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, sits at 3,100 meters and is believed to be where the Ganges descended from heaven. The surrounding snow-covered peaks and the tranquil Bhagirathi River set a heavenly atmosphere.
Kedarnath
Home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, Kedarnath (3,583 meters) is accessible via a challenging 16 km trek or by helicopter. It offers both spiritual sanctity and spellbinding mountain vistas.
Badrinath
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this shrine lies at 3,100 meters and is surrounded by Nar and Narayan peaks. The temple’s vibrant architecture, religious hymns, and icy Alaknanda River create a mystic ambiance.
Best Time to Visit: May to October | Highlights: Hot springs at Yamunotri, Bhagirathi Shila in Gangotri, Vasuki Tal trek from Kedarnath, Tapt Kund in Badrinath.
Vaishno Devi (Jammu & Kashmir)
Perched at 5,200 feet in the Trikuta Hills, Vaishno Devi is one of India’s most visited pilgrimage sites. Devotees trek 13 km from Katra to reach the sacred cave where Maa Vaishno Devi resides in the form of three rock pindies.
Amarnath Yatra (Kashmir)
This sacred yatra to the Amarnath Cave, situated at an altitude of ~3,900 meters, is famed for the miraculous ice lingam formation of Lord Shiva. It opens only during July–August under the auspices of the Shravan Mela.
Kumbh Mela (Haridwar, Prayagraj, Nashik, Ujjain)
Witness spirituality in its grandest form at the Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years in rotation across four holy cities. Millions of pilgrims take the shahi snan (royal dip) to attain moksha.
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (Tibet)
One of the most sacred journeys in Asia, this yatra takes you to the holy Mount Kailash (6,638 m), believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. The route includes:
Mansarovar Lake
A crystal-clear lake at 4,590 m where pilgrims bathe to cleanse sins and attain moksha.
Parikrama of Mount Kailash
A 3-day circumambulation of the mountain that tests endurance and strengthens devotion.
Asthapad, Diraphuk, Zuthulpuk
Sacred campsites with unmatched views of Kailash.
Duration: ~15 Days | Travel Style: High-altitude road trip, some trekking | Permits & Health Clearance Required

Trip Kara de has planned our nainital, Jim corbatte n masoori journey precisely n professionally, vehicle n driver was good.
Only keeping our age in view, the hotel in masoori should have been near to main roads. The hotel was located far below the level of the main road where v had to walk with difficulty.
